Forever Ago RussiaXReader Chapter 1

You sit in your room dying from boredom. Your quote on quote Prince Charming has left you, yet again, to go play video games and eat hamburgers with his bros. You slowly get up slowly because your butt is so numb from sitting. After a couple of unbalanced steps you lazily walked to your window to look outside. You check the clock.

'10 o' clock. Perfect.' You thought.

You look back through the window and caught sight of the liquor store light turn off. A man stepped out of the entrance and locks the door. You let out a sigh as the tall man walked away whistling a tune.

You hear the door open as you gaze out of your window, catching the last glimpse of your wishful love. You turn around to see Alfred throwing his coat and gaming devices on the chair near the door.

"______ you should have been there I whooped both of your step brothers' butts at HALO!" Alfred said cheerfully. You groan because you know you'll never hear the end of it from your step brothers, France and England. Alfred gets a lustful look on his face. "What? Aren't you going to give the Hero a celebration gift?" he says as he arches an eyebrow.

"I'm tired today. I just want to sleep." You put bluntly. You climbed into bed and turned off the light leaving the "Hero" in the dark. You close your eyes and feign sleep as Alfred climbs in all sulky and puts his back to you.

*Flash back to a couple of months before Alfred too you to the palace*

The little bell rung as you entered the liquor store door. You had gone to the liquor store on a whim having noticed it during your errands in the village. The shop was dark, no one else was around, and just shelves of various liquors and other assortments were company to you.

'Why is it so barren?'  You think. You turn to leave, but find it blocked by a large man. You jump for not having you noticed him behind you.

"Dobro Pozhalovat'," the man said with a friendly smile. He had a childish charm to him; his violet eyes enchanted you, drawing you in. a light blush crossed your face as you realized you were staring at him and quickly looked away.

"H…Hi…," you mange to stutter out.

"Not many beautiful sunflowers like you come in here often. I'm pleased that you have come." He said innocently.

You heart was pounding. 'Why are you so nervous? Get a grip.' You coach to yourself. "Umm… Why don't you get many questions?" you manage to ask despite your nerves.

"I don't know…" he said looking off, obviously in deep thought. He steps aside and walks behind the counter to sit on a stool. He put his elbow on the counter and his chin in the palm of his hand. You notice the empty vase on the counter.

"I'll be right back!" you say cheerfully and dart out of the door. You run as fast as you can to the flower shop. "Five sunflowers please!"  The florist quickly wrapped them up; you pay for them and dash back to the liquor store. You catch your breath as you get to the door, and then entered casually.
  
"Tada!" you say as you present the flowers to the Russian. The Russian's eyes were wide with astonishment but then relaxed, full of happiness. "My name is                ." you say sweetly, a blush crossing your face.

"I'm Ivan." He said with another childish smile.
Every day you went to the liquor store to see Ivan, to talk for hours till the shop closed. He became your best friend.

*end of flash back*

Tears ran down your face thinking of Ivan. You close your eyes and hoped sleep would come soon.
